Overnight at Kund.

Today we will start early and drive to Chopta. From the road head climb up the world famous meadows of Chopta. It will take about a couple of hours to reach Tungnath temple. After a brief rest carry on and climb to reach the summit of Chandrashila peak at about 4000m. From the summit you can see big Himalayan peaks (Nanda Devi, Trishul, Chaukhamba and many more) and surrounding valleys in all directions. Relish a picnic lunch at the top Chandrashila. After the summit we start descending to the base at Chopta and from there get onto your vehicles and drive down to Kund where a refreshing shower and hot dinner awaits you.
